Exclusive Wedding Photography

Our philosophy is to deliver creative and unique photography to all our bride & grooms
So who is Samuel Whitton Photography? Well it’s me, I’m Sam pleased to meet you. I couldn’t possibly do this all on my own, however, I have the support of my amazing wife Amy, who keeps all the day to day running of the business, well…erm, running! Oh and she makes a great coffee. This gives me the time needed to focus on you, the photography and creative aspect of the business.

Back in 1996 is where it all started when I spent most of my time in the darkroom developing prints and in 2003 moved to digital photography. I made the jump to being a professional photographer in 2010 and was accepted into the Master Photographers Association, shortly after winning 9 awards in my first year and 4 the following year.

At Samuel Whitton Photography I concentrate exclusively on wedding photography, whether you’re having a relaxed teepee tent wedding in a field or you’ve booked a stately home nestled in the countryside. My key focus is on you and capturing the memories of your big day without intruding. I’m not the type of photographer that takes over and occupies all of your time. My approach has always been relaxed and flexible so you can enjoy your day whilst still getting the most from your wedding photos and allowing me to deliver the wedding images you’ll treasure for a lifetime.

The heart of my world is my family and I spend most of my free time with Amy and our two very energetic boys Riley & Jenson on day trips, picnics in the park or just hanging out at home playing with Play-Doh, finger painting or watching Pixar movies cuddled up on the sofa.

That’s just about enough from me, let’s talk about the most important people…you guys. Give me a call today to book a meet and greet so we can talk about your special day.

I've loved photography for as long as I can remember, from the early days of using my Dads Olympus 35mm SLR on family holidays to Pentax k1000's at college and onto Canon digital format in 2004. My passion for photography has grown so much from the early days and continues to do so, nothing is greater than capturing, documenting and freezing a moment in time that is otherwise lost forever. Any spare time is spent with my wife Amy and our two beautiful (albeit crazy) boys Riley & Jenson.

Marketing & PR
Being married to a wedding photographer has given me a real insight into what goes into making a great wedding album and all the hard work that is put in before, during and after your big day. With over 14 years of experience in the service industry, working as cabin crew for various airlines I know how important good communication skills are and I bring thing level of detail to Samuel Whitton Photography. I now work on all the day to day running of the business and keeping all our bride and grooms up to date. When not entertaining our two energetic boys I love reading crime thrillers, keeping up with the latest wedding fashions and spending quality time with friends and family.

I’ve always had a passion for film and video. After completing a Film & Moving Image Production course at university, I set up my own business and haven’t looked back.
My aim is to capture your entire wedding day in a modern, cinematic style, while remaining unobtrusive and keeping things relaxed. There is nothing better than capturing a natural smile or loving glance on film. I love documenting weddings, and when I’m not shooting brides and grooms, I’m filming my dog Alfie!
